2010 Travel and Excitement
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 11:50AM 2010 is proving to be a very exciting year at our studio. We've traveled to 7 countries in the past 5 months working on many projects both personal and for clients. We can't complain for a second, but being a photographer that travels on assignment has it's challenges. Thank goodness for todays technology. With WIFI, a laptop, and and iPhone, we are able to stay in touch with clients and our staff to make sure everything runs on schedule.
The image above is of Mont Blanc from Chamonix, France. We photographed a stunning wedding in Geneva, Switzerland and took a couple of days to explore, photograph, and of course snowboard the French Alps. The beauty of this part of the world is simply incredible, and the charm of Chamonix reminded me of Aspen, Co., with a french accent.
We made it home for a few days and then it was off to Las Vegas, NV. for WPPI. Wedding and Portrait Photographers International hosts an annual conference and this year nearly 14,000 photographers from just about every continent attended. It is a meeting of the minds and the best place to share ideas and learn from industry leaders. We gave a platform program on the topic of Digital Cinema and we want to send a note of thank you out to all of those who attended. A special thanks to those who have emailed us letters of thanks, and those that stopped us in the hallways and parties to tell us how much you learned and enjoyed the program. It is always an honor to speak at WPPI, and there is no better feeling than when you can help others see their own potential.
Now we are back and gearing up for a busy spring and summer. There is a lot of spring cleaning, marketing, and preparation to be done. But, travel has a way of bringing out the best ideas in us, so we are excited to have great re-inventing ideas for works of art that we will unveil for our clients.
