Hurricane Weddings...

     Well, here we are gearing up in the Northeast for Hurricane Irene this weekend. Irene is a few days away, and it reminded me of a wedding we photographed in the Hamptons a couple of years back when the edge of another Hurricane came through eastern Long Island on the day we were photographing Erica and Rob's wedding. The wind was crazy, the waves were huge, and the rain was barraling down. They were closing the streets, and I have to say there was a little nervous tension at night knowing that would could start seeing flood waters. The great news is that it all worked out. Check out this slideshow. We managed to get a few minutes on the beach with our couple, and the warm air added a warm romance to the day. So, we color graded the photographs warm to match to feeling of the day. I have to say, hurricane weddings, make for some tremendous photographs! Enjoy...

What a lovely slideshow. You've made a believer out of me. Hurricane weddings really do make for some incredible photographs. Of course, it's easy when you have a topnotch photography team at the ready. ;-)
